MOUNTING ON A CONCRETE OR BRICK WALL
• The product should be mounted onto reinforced concrete or solid brick walls. Minimum
installation height is 2.5 m. Request professional help if you are uncertain.
• If the building has a veneer wall or an outer shell, facing bricks or a facing panel and additional
insulation for example, then the installation should be carried out by a professional.
• Contact a professional if there are cracks in the wall.
• Check that the wall is flat so the fixtures can be securely fitted.
NOTE:
Carefully choose a place to install the product that is safe and hassle-free. At least two adults
with sufficient technical knowledge are required to install the product.
Step 1: Choose installation place
Be aware of the angle of the product when choosing an installation location. The angle of inclination
of the product is factory set. The angle of inclination can be set to between 14° and 50°, however we
do not recommend changing the angle from the factory setting.
We recommend that the product is installed so that the front rail is at least 2.5 m above the ground
when the product is completely extended. At an angle of 14° the lower drill hole for the fixtures
should be placed 60 cm higher than the desired height for the front rail.
If the product is installed above a balcony door or similar, if possible, leave at least 20 cm free space
above the door frame.
Observe the angle of inclination when choosing the installation location. We recommend that the
front rail is placed at least 2.5 m above the ground and that the total height difference A is at least
0.60 m. If the front rail is to be placed 2.5 m above the ground then the lower drill hole should be
placed 3.1 m above the ground.
