unpacKing
When unpacking, check to make sure that the item is intact and undamaged. If any
parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number shown on the
cover of this manual as soon as possible.
assembly
note:
This Bathroom Scale comes completely assembled, except battery needs to be
installed.
Place the Bathroom Scale bottom-up on a flat surface. Remove the Battery Compart-
ment Cover by sliding the cover off. Remove the Battery. Place a new 3-Volt Lithium-ION
Battery inside the compartment, making sure to position the Battery in the proper polarity.
Replace the Battery Compartment Cover.
operation
Move the On/Off Sliding Switch to either KG or LB.
Place the Bathroom Scale on a hard, flat, smooth surface.
Tap the Scale with your foot to make it turn on. It will flash “HELO”, then Read-Out
Window will read “0.0” to signify that it is ready. Step evenly onto Scale and stand
motionless to see your weight appear in Read-out Window.
Step off of the Scale and it will automatically turn off in 6 seconds.
note:
When the Battery is low the Read-out Window will read “LO”. Follow the
Battery replacement instructions below.
note:
If there is an error in displaying your weight, the Read-out Window will read
“EEEE”. If this reading occurs, step off the scale, wait a few seconds until the “EEEE”
disappears from the Window. Then step gently back onto the Scale.
maintenance, and cleaning
Periodically wipe off the Bathroom Scale with a soft, lightly dampened cloth. Com-
pletely dry the bottom and top surfaces before continuing its use.
Properly recycle or dispose of old battery.
