USING CONTROLLER MODE
SYSTEM SETTINGS
Registers the device, source, and zone and sets the Event & Preset and annual schedules.
If the system is initialized or the network setting (User, DHCP) is changed after you register the device, you should
delete the device before registering it again.
Register Device
Controllable devices can be searched, and you can register or delete the devices by selecting them.
1. On the Home screen, click <System Setting> ; <Device Registration> .
2. Devices connected to the network are listed in < Device Search >.
If you click the [
] icon, the device list can be updated.
3. If you cannot search for the device, enter its IP address in the search bar and click the [ Add ] button to
manually add the device.
4. If you select a device to register from the < Device Search > list and click the [ ] button, the device is
moved to the < Registered Devices > list.

If you select the moved device and click the [ ] button, it returns to the <
Device Search
> list.

If you click the [
Cancel
] button, the selected device will be deselected, or devices moved back to the
< Device Search > list will be recovered.
The < Searched count > and < Registered count > will change depending on the device registration
status.
5. If you select devices to register and click the [Apply] button, devices are registered.
~ As only one < Controller > mode speaker should exist in the same network, register all the other
speakers as <
Speaker
> mode.
Control Mode
When you run < Start Broadcasting >, < Stop Broadcasting > from the < Operate > ; < Button Mode >, you
can control the zone devices with either the TCP or UDP method.
Depending on the UNICAST, MULTICAST setting of <
Source Registration > ; < Transmission Method >,
the number of zone devices which simultaneously broadcast in the <
Button Mode
> changes.

> is only provided to the admin account.
1. Click < Operate > ; < Control Mode > on the Home screen.
2. Set < Control Mode > as TCP.

In a UNICAST network, if you set the <
Source Registration
>

Transmission Method
> to UNICAST
on the source device, you can simultaneously broadcast to up to 20 zones (20 output speakers).

In a MULTICAST network, if you set the < Source Registration >

< Transmission Method > to
MULTICAST on the source device, you can simultaneously broadcast to up to 50 zones (50 output
speakers).
3. Set < Control Mode > as UDP.
~ In a UNICAST network, if you set the < Source Registration > ; < Transmission Method > to UNICAST
on the source device, you can simultaneously broadcast to up to 20 zones (20 output speakers).
~ In a MULTICAST network, if you set the < Source Registration > ; < Transmission Method > to
MULTICAST on the source device, you can simultaneously broadcast to up to 256 zones (256 output
speakers).
4. You have to select < Control Mode > and < Transmission Method > in consideration of the number of
zone devices which simultaneously broadcast and the used network environment.
5. Depending on the network environment configuration, the maximum broadcasting count might be limited.
