Operation
Activated charcoal filter
When using the appliance for air circulation,
only do so with activated charcoal filters in-
serted.
For the source of supply, please see chapter
„Our Service Centre“ on page EN-21.
„Inserting/replacing the activated carbon fil-
ters (only in recirculation mode)“ see EN-18.
Fan
The blower of your exhaust hood has three
settings.
• To switch the fan
– on, press the (18) button.
(16) POWER appears in the LED
display window, and the fan operates
briefly at the fastest fan level and then
changes to the slowest fan level.
– off, press the (18) button.
• To change the fan level, press the (17)
button
1× for medium level
2× for fast level
3× for slow fan level.
Tips on saving energy
Only switch on the fan when needed; other-
wise, energy will be wasted.
Let the fan run as long as cooking fumes or
steam are present.
The fan is not needed when cooking only
briefly or warming up foods that have little or
no odour.
Ensure that there is enough supply air; oth-
erwise, the exhaust hood may not function
optimally. If necessary, open the window or
kitchen door.
Clean grease filters (12) regularly.
Lighting
Your exhaust hood is equipped with two LED
lights. The lighting can be switched on or off
independently of the fans.
To switch the lighting
• on, press the (15) button.
The lighting is switched on and LAMP is
shown on the display (16).
• off, press the (15) button again.
