Cleaning the grease filters
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
■
Handle the grease fi lters carefully to
avoid bending or creasing the fi ne
mesh.
■
Only reinsert the grease fi lters after
cleaning once they are fully dry.
Clean the grease filters once a month – or
more frequently if necessary – in the dish-
washer (up to 60 °C), or soak in lukewarm
water with detergent.
1. Unplug the mains plug or switch off the
power to the corresponding main fuse.

2. Loosen the knurled screw

and careful-
ly remove the grease filter

3. Wash the grease filters
13
in a dishwash-
er or in the sink like ordinary dishware.
4. Completely allow the grease filter to dry.

5. Insert the grease filter into the groove at
the rear, then fold it upwards and tighten it
with the knurled screw

6. Reconnect the power supply.
Installing/replacing the
activated charcoal filter (only
for circulation air operation)
The activated coal filters remove odours.
They have to be replaced as soon as the
cooking odours can no longer be adequately
filtered. If used frequently, the filters should
be replaced regularly (check approx. every
6 months).

3. Unscrew the old activated carbon filters

from the motor and remove the filters.
You can dispose of them with household
waste.
4. Fit the new activated carbon filters

to
the right and left of the motor as shown
and tighten.
