Cleaning
1. Clean the ice cube container (15) as de-
scribed in section “Cleaning the ice cube
container” on page EN-32.
2. Wash the internal fixtures in warm water
with washing up liquid and dry thoroughly.
3. Wipe down the inside with warm water
and washing-up liquid.
4. When wiping clean, add a few drops of
vinegar to the water to prevent mould
from forming.
5. Only clean the door seals with clean wa-
ter; they are sensitive to oil and fat.
6. Rub everything completely dry, including
the door seals, and allow to air briefly.
Using the appliance again
1. Re-insert the internal fittings.
2. Connect the mains plug to the socket or
switch on the fuse again.
3. To quickly cool the fridge and freezer,
switch on “Quick freezing” QUICK FRZ
and “Quick refrigerating” QUICK REF
at the same time (see page EN-17).
4. Place the frozen food back into the freez-
er once the freezer has reached a tem-
perature of
−
18°C and switch off “Quick
refrigerating” and “Quick freezing”.
5. Set the desired fridge and freezer temper-
ature (see page EN-15).
6. To switch on the ice maker, press the
ICE OFF button (31). The ice maker is
switched on when the symbol (29)
goes out.
Cleaning the drip tray

1. Remove the drip tray (37) and wash it
with clean, warm water.
2. Use a damp cloth and a small amount of
mild cleaner to wipe off the trough (38).
3. Dry the drip tray and trough.
4. Re-insert the drip tray.
Cleaning the ice cube container
WARNING
Risk of injury!
Improper handling of the ice maker can
result in injury.

Do not insert fi ngers into the grinding
mechanism in the ice cube container!
■
Do not insert objects such as knives,
forks or similar into the grinding
mechanism.
■
Switch off the ice maker before re-
moving and cleaning (ICE OFF).
■
Be extremely careful when cleaning
the grinding mechanism.
It is possible that ice cubes have stuck to-
gether in the ice cube container (15). In this
case, it is necessary to clean the ice cube
container and remove the blockage.
