Be extremely careful when cleaning
the grinding mechanism.
It is possible that ice cubes have stuck to-
gether in the ice cube container (4). In this
case, it is necessary to clean the ice cube
container and remove the blockage.
Clean the ice cube container on a reg-
ular basis to prevent blockages from
forming.
Removing the ice cube container
1. Press the ICE OFF button (31) to switch
off the ice maker.
2. Disconnect the mains plug from the sock-
et or switch off the fuse.

3. Lift the ice cube container slightly (4) and
pull it out, keeping it level.
4. Remove the cover (39).
Cleaning

1. Dispose of any ice cubes down the drain.
If necessary, turn the conveyor screw (40)
clockwise or anticlockwise to loosen any
trapped ice cubes.
2. Clean the ice cube container and its cover
with a soft cloth, water and a mild cleaner.
3. Dry all parts thoroughly.
Using the appliance again
1. Place the cover (39) on the ice cube con-
tainer (4).

2. Push the ice cube container back into
the freezer until it clicks into place. If you
experience any problems reinserting the
container,
– remove the ice cube container again.
– turn the conveyor screw manually (40)
to 90°, so that it locks into the catch (41).
– Insert the ice maker back into the slot.
Repeat the process until the ice cube con-
tainer clicks into place.
3. Connect the mains plug to the socket or
switch on the fuse again.
4. Press button (31) ICE OFF to switch on
the ice maker.
Cleaning the ice dispenser
Ice cubes can clog the ice dispenser (2) and
block the ice outlet (36).
• Remove clumped ice from the ice dis-
penser on a regular basis.
• Wipe away ice residue from the ice dis-
penser and outlet.
