NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the refrigerator may result in
damage.
• Do not use caustic, abrasive, sand, soda, or acidic
detergents or sponges to clean the refrigerator. They
could damage the surfaces. All-purpose cleaners
with a neutral pH are recommended.
• Never spray the refrigerator with water jets (e.g.
high-pressure cleaner).
• Make sure that no cleaning water gets into the elec-
trical parts and the drain opening.
Cleaning back and front of appliance
1. Clean the outside walls and door with a damp cloth and gener-
al-purpose cleaner.
2. Wipe dry.
3. Remove dust deposits from the condenser on the back of the
refrigerator regularly to minimise energy consumption.
Cleaning the fridge compartment
1. Set the temperature control

to ‘0’ and pull the mains plug
out of the socket.
2. Remove the food and place it in a sufficiently cool room.
3. Remove the vegetable drawer

and clean them with some detergent in lukewarm water.
Add vinegar to prevent mould. (Cleaning vinegar, household
vinegar or vinegar essence)
4. Clean the opening of the condensate drain. This is located
behind the fixed glass shelf

Notice: The condensation water flows into a drip tray above
the compressor and evaporates there. You do not have to
dispose of the condensation water.
5. Wipe down everything with clean water.
6. Wipe everything dry and leave the door open a while to air.

8. Put the food back in the refrigerator.
9. Re-insert the mains plug into the socket. Set the thermostat
control

to the desired setting. (See chapter ‘Setting the
