Information
CAUTION
Risk of suffocation/injury!
The refrigerator is not a children's toy. Using refrigerators
is associated with particular hazards for children and spe-
cific groups of individuals who are not aware of the risks.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children
aged from 3 to 8 years are allowed to load and unload
refrigerating appliances. Children shall not play with
the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without supervision.
• If children clean the refrigerator, they must be supervised.
• Ensure that children do not play with the packing film.
Children could become entangled when playing and
suffocate.
• Ensure that children do not remove any small parts
from the refrigerator or take them out of the accesso-
ries packaging and place them in their mouths. Chil-
dren could choke on them.
• Ensure that children do not play with the refrigerator.
The refrigerator could be tipped over or damaged.
CAUTION
Fire hazard!
Insufficient air circulation can lead to heat accumulation.
• To ensure adequate air circulation, the entire space
above the refrigerator must remain clear of obstructions.
• Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure
or in the built-in structure, clear of obstruction.
• Do not place the refrigerator directly against the wall.
Leave space of at least 3 cm.
CAUTION
Health hazard!
If the refrigerator is switched off or the power fails, the
contents of the refrigerator is no longer cooled suffi-
ciently. Stored food can spoil. This could lead to a risk
of food poisoning.
• After a possible power failure, check whether the food
in storage is still palatable.
• Keep food cool - if possible - during a power failure.
