Transporting and unpacking refrigerator
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the refrigerator may result in
damage.
• If possible, do not tilt the refrigerator into a horizontal
position. Only rest it against the wall to change the
door hinges.
• Transport the refrigerator at a maximum angle of 45°.
• Do not use any sharp or pointy objects when remov-
ing protective film from the door surface.
1. Move the refrigerator using a trolley or with the help of a sec-
ond person to the desired location.
2. Remove the packaging material and all protective foils from
the interior and exterior.
Selecting the right location
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
The refrigerator may not work properly if it is exposed
to temperatures that are colder than the lower limit
of the temperature range for which it is designed for
longer periods.
• Observe the temperature limits.
• Select the location according to the temperature lim-
its and set the temperature according to the ambient
temperature.
• To achieve the highest possible cooling performance with the
least energy consumption, choose a location that
– is not too warm, is dry and well ventilated,
– is not exposed to direct sunlight and
– measures at least 3.5 m

• We do not advise positioning the appliance next to an oven,
stove or radiator. Abide by minimum distances:
– to electric stoves: 3 cm,
– to oil and coal burning stoves: 30 cm,
– to refrigerators: 2 cm,
– to washing machines/dishwashers: 2 cm.
