Cleaning the front of the
appliance and the door seal
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
Improper use of this appliance may
lead to electric shocks.
■
Prior to cleaning, switch off the ap-
pliance, pull out the mains plug and
switch off the fuse.
■
Never spray the appliance with a wa-
ter jet (high-pressure cleaner).
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
The door seals are sensitive to oil and
grease. The surfaces can be damaged
by unsuitable cleaning agents.
■
Do not use harsh, aggressive, sol-
vent-based or abrasive cleaners.
■
Do not grease the door seals.
If water gets into the lock, the lock and
the electric components in the door
may become damaged.
■
Use a damp cloth to clean the inner
edges of the door.
■
Do not use any cleaning sprays.
1. Wipe the front of the appliance with a
damp cloth and some all-purpose cleaning
product and wipe it off with a dry towel.
Take note of the manufacturer’s care in-
structions when cleaning the front panel of
the dishwasher.
2. Clean the door seal and the inside of the
door regularly with a damp cloth.
Checking and cleaning the
filters
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Using the appliance without the fi lters
or with improperly fi tted fi lters can cause
the dishwashing performance to be im-
peded or may damage the appliance.
■
Prior to launching a dishwashing pro-
gramme, always ensure that the fi l-
ters have been correctly installed in
the appliance.
■
Clean the fi lters at least once a week.
■
Clean the fi lters with care; do not
bend them.
■
If you replace the fi lters, always use
genuine replacement parts.
Coarse filter
Main filter
Fine filter
Check the coarse filter, the main filter and the
fine filter after each rinse cycle and remove
food residues and foreign bodies if necessary:
1. Empty the lower dish rack and remove it.
2. Turn the coarse filter in an anticlockwise
direction and remove the filters in an up-
ward direction.
3. Clean the filters carefully under running
water.
4. Replace the filters and turn the coarse fil-
ter in a clockwise direction up to the stop
point.
