Combining modes
NOTICE

Improper handling of the appliance

The grill rack is not suitable for micro-
wave mode.

Use the grill rack exclusively in simple
grill mode or hot air mode.
You can combine the “Grill” and “Microwave”
modes. This means that you can fully exploit
the advantages of the modes and the micro-
waves. Doing so lets you cook quickly and
produce a nice crust at the same time. This
shortens preparation times enormously.
There are two combinations available:

1. Press the “Microwave/Grill/Combi” but-
ton (17).
“
P100
” will flash on the display.
2. Press the “Microwave/Grill/Combi” but-
ton (17) repeatedly or turn the control
dial (15) until the display (11) shows “
[-1
”
or “
[-2
”.
3. Press the “Start/+30sec./Confirm” but-
ton (14) to confirm the mode setting.
4. Use the control dial (15) to set the desired
cooking time.
5. Press the “Start/+30sec./Confirm” but-
ton (14) to confirm the cooking time setting.
The cooking process will start and the time
indicator on the display (11) will commence
counting down.
When the time indicator reaches
0:00
, you
will hear five beeps and the appliance will
switch off.
Defrosting mode

Use the grill rack exclusively in simple
grill mode or hot air mode.
When defrosting frozen food, there are two
programs available:
Program 1 (
dEF1
)
for frozen food with a weight of 100 to 2000 g.
Use this program to defrost frozen food by
weight: The defrosting time varies depending
on how much food you would like to defrost.
Program 2 (
dEF2
)
Use this program to set the defrosting time
for frozen food yourself. The maximum time
is 95:00 minutes
WARNING
Health hazard!
The water that melts during defrosting
can contain harmful bacteria, especial-
ly with meat and poultry!

Avoid any physical contact.
■
Pour defrost water away. Do not use
it for any other purpose.
■
Thoroughly clean the crockery you
have used.
