Never operate the appliance without
the turntable and never without food!
The grill rack is not suitable for micro-
wave mode.
■
Use the grill rack exclusively in simple
grill mode or hot air mode.
Microwave mode
The “microwave” mode is ideally suited to de-
frosting smaller portions as well as the prepa-
ration of:
– stews, soups, sauces
– meat without crusts
– steamed fish
– vegetables
– side dishes (rice, boiled potatoes, some
pasta)
– hot drinks
Quick-start microwave

• A short press of the “Start/+30sec./Con-
firm” button (14) will immediately start mi-
crowave operation at full power (800 watts)
for 30 seconds.
• Press the “Start/+30sec./Confirm” but-
ton (14), several times if need be, to extend
the cooking time in steps of 30 seconds.

using this setting, sauces do
not boil over and dishes cook
evenly, without the edges
turning hard or the dish
overflowing.

More compact dishes which
require a long cooking time
when using the oven, e.g.
beef dishes.

Cook rice, pasta and
dumplings, or heat baked
egg custard.

Gentle defrosting, e.g.
for gateaux or puff pastry
products.
