Fan
The blower of your exhaust hood has three
settings.
1. Switching on the fan: Press button (23) .
The display (21) shows POWER and
the fan is active at the previously set fan
level.
2. Changing the fan intensity: Press the but-
ton (22) to switch between low, medi-
um and high levels.
3. Switching off the fan: Press button (23)
If the appliance is running at the “Inten-
sive / high level” fan speed setting, it
automatically switches back to the “medium”
fan speed setting after 7 minutes.
Timer
The fan time can be set. If the timer function
is active, the word TIMER will appear in
the display (21).
The fan time can be set from 1 to 60 minutes.
1. Press button (23) to switch on the fan.
2. As required, set the desired fan intensity
using the button (22) .
3. Press the timer button (19) . The dis-
play (21) shows TIMER and the previ-
ously set runtime for the fan.
4. Set the desired fan time with the (20)
and (22) buttons):
– Button (20) : Value is decreased.
– Button (22) : Value is increased.
– If the respective button is held down for
a longer time, the value will decrease/
increase quickly until the button is re-
leased. If the value is reduced further
when already at 00 minutes, the display
will start again at 60 minutes. Please
note! If no button is pressed for 10 sec-
onds, the set fan time will start automat-
ically.
5. When the desired fan time is set, press
the (19) button once. The display now
counts down the time to 00 minutes and
then switches the fan off.
6. To switch the fan off prematurely, press
the (23) button once.
Energy saving tips
– Only switch on the fan when needed; oth-
erwise, energy will be wasted.
– Let the fan run as long as cooking fumes
or steam are present.
– The fan is not needed when cooking only
briefly or warming up foods that have lit-
tle or no odour.
– Ensure that there is enough supply air; oth-
erwise, the exhaust hood may not function
optimally. If necessary, open the window or
kitchen door.
– Clean the grease filters (17) regularly.
