Requirements
– You have read the chapter entitled „Safety“
on page EN-4.
– The exhaust hood is assembled as de-
scribed in chapter „Assembly“ on page
EN-15.
Activated charcoal filter
• When using the appliance for air circula-
tion, only do so with activated charcoal
filters inserted.
• If neighbours complain about odours, it
may be a good idea to insert activated
charcoal filters for exhaust air operation,
too.
• For the source of supply, please see
chapter „Our Service Centre“ on page
EN-19.
• To insert (see „Insert / replace activated
carbon filter (for air recirculation)“ on page
EN-11).

Setting the time
Please note: in order to set the time, the fan
and lights must be turned off.
Please note: if no button is pressed for 10
seconds in the time mode, the electronics re-
turn to normal mode.
1. Hold down the (19)
button for approx.
3 seconds, until the display (21) shows
the number for the hours.
2. Set the hour with the (20) and (22)
buttons):
– Button (20) : Value is decreased.
– Button (22) : Value is increased.
– If the respective button is held down for
a longer time, the value will decrease/
increase quickly until the button is re-
leased.
3. Once the correct value for the hour has
been set, press the button (19) once,
and the minute display will now flash.
4. Set the minute with the (20) and (22)
buttons):
5. Once the correct value for the minute dis-
play has been set, press the button (19)
once. The time is saved and the elec-
tronics return to normal mode.
Lighting
Your exhaust hood is equipped with four LED
lights. The lighting can be switched on or off
independently of the fans.
To switch the lighting
• on, press the (20) button. The display (21)
will show LAMP .
• off, press the (20) button again.
