Never pull the supply cord
out beyond the red marker.
Pulling the cord out further
can damage the cable reel.

1. Pull the supply cord (12) out un-
til the yellow marking is visible
on it.
If the red marking is visible, the
supply cord has been pulled out
too far. Retract it slightly (see
section „Finishing vacuuming“
on page EN-19).
2. Connect the mains plug to a
properly installed socket.

3. Use your foot to step on the
On/Off switch (5) to switch on
the appliance.
4. To vacuum, push and pull the
nozzle across the surface you
are vacuuming. To reach cor-
ners better, rotate the handle
slightly. This positions the
nozzle diagonally.
In rare cases this can make
a whistling noise initially. This
is not a malfunction and stops
after a while.
