Improper handling of the ap-
pliance may result in health

Do not use the appliance if
the hygiene or motor pro-
tection fi lter is missing or
damaged.
Otherwise, vacuumed dust
can penetrate the appli-
ance and escape into the
ambient air.
Even with the fi lters, the ap-
pliance’s exhaust air may
still contain small quantities
of dirt particles. If breathed
in by small children, these
can lead to allergic reac-
tions.

Avoid vacuuming close to
children, wherever possible.

Use the appliance only if
the motor protection fi lter
is in place. The motor pro-
tection fi lter must not be
damaged.

Only the original supplied
accessories and the speci-
fi ed dust bag, motor protec-
tion fi lter and hygiene fi lter
may be used.

Never vacuum up clay, plas-
ter, cement, masonry dust
or drilling dust. Vacuuming
these materials blocks the
fi lter.
■
Never vacuum water and
other liquids.
■
Never vacuum sharp ob-
jects e.g. glass fragments.
