5. Slide the pump on the receiver, securing with
the pin (E) provided, and install the safety-locking
device.
6. Slide the spring loaded locking collar (F) on the
PTO yoke rearward, and slide the yoke onto the
tractor PTO shaft. Release spring loaded collar.
Be sure the pins fall into the grove of the tractor
PTO shaft and collar snaps forward into position.
CAUTION: Do not use steel hammer to aid in
joining PTO parts.
NOTE: Check the distance as listed in the
diagram above for correct joint-to-joint
distance on the PTO.
Remove the weight from the lift jack and place it
in the storage position (G).
PREPARING FOR OPERATION
MERGER DRAWBAR & PTO INSTALLATION
1. Slide the Merger drawbar extension onto the tractor drawbar.
2. Install the hitch pin (B) and rotate the pin lock (C) over hitch pin.
3. Tighten the 3/4” nuts to 150 ft. lbs. (204N-m). The nuts will secure the pin lock and hold the extension
tight to the drawbar. Dimension “A” should be the same on each side as shown.
4. Attach Merger to tractor using the 1” hitch pin (D) provided and install the safety-locking device.
