48” long x 2.5” diameter rigid, flexible suction hose assembly with attached hood and hose clamp
Two installed HEPA filters
Factory installed 6’ power cord with grounded plug
Remote foot control on/off switch with 8’ cord and grounded plug
Set Up Instructions:
1.
Unpack contents of the box
2.
Inspect contents for any damage. Damage may be concealed even if the box does not appear
to have damage or signs of distress. If there is damage, contact your carrier immediately and
file a claim. Contact Handler to reorder a replacement unit.
3.
Wipe down the parts with disinfectant wipes or spray all items with Lysol® or similar aerosol
disinfection agent as a safety precaution to disinfect prior to use.
4.
Place the collection box on the floor and lock castors to hold in place. Plug the power cord into
the foot switch and plug the foot switch into a wall outlet.
5.
Attach the rigid hose with factory hood to the suction inlet of the base unit using the hose
assembly instruction file attached to the hose.
6.
Your
HANDLER 42ESU
is now ready for use.
7.
NOTE: Never pull the 42ESU by the hose as it will cause the hose to lose rigidity.
Operating Instructions:
1.
The
HANDLER 42ESU
is meant to be used chair side by the DCU (Dental Chair Unit) and used in
conjunction with an intraoral HVE (High Volume Evacuation). It is not intended to replace an
intraoral HVE.
2.
Wheel the
HANDLER 42ESU
next to the chair after the patient is in the DCU and ready for
treatment. Please note that the
HANDLER 42ESU
is not an intraoral device and should have no
contact with the patient.
