FlexiGrip is used as a helpful grip that facilitates more active raising of the user from a recumbent to a seated position.
FlexiGrip is fastened to the bed’s short side and has several handles on both sides to enable the user to ‘climb’ up to a
seated position.
Placement of FlexiGrip
Fasten FlexiGrip by drawing the straps through the loops. Check to ensure that the fixture
points will withstand the pressure of the load transferred by the straps.
Visual inspection
Check the condition and function of the assistive device regularly. Always inspect the product after laundering. Check to
ensure that seams and material are free from damage. Check to ensure that fabric is not worn or faded. If there are signs
of wear, the product must be discarded.

Mechanical load
Apply pressure to buckles and handles and verify that they will not open or break under
heavy loads.
Always read the user manuals for all assistive devices used during a transfer.
Keep the user manual where it is accessible to users of the product.
