1.Starting current in Y connection is 1/3 of lock rotor ampere.
2.Starting torque in Y connection is 1/3 of lock rotor torque.
Characteristic of PWS starting
1. The starting current is around 40%~70% of lock rotor ampere. It depends on the system design and motor specifications.
2.7 Certification marking
The model is designed based on ATEX 2014/34/EU, and in compliance with the requirement of EN60079-0:2012,
EN60079-1:2014. It is also verified with ATEX Certification II 2 G c IIB T4 and II 2 G Ex d IIB T4, which is suitable for the
hazardous explosive atmospheres as Zone1 and Zone2.
2.8 Cable Box

Hanbell designs and makes the cable box which meets IEC 60529:IP66 protection degree. Cable box schematic diagram and
the size of opening in cable box (for motor power line and control power line) refer to the drawing below Figure 2.1; cable
glands and plugs tightening torque refer to Table2.1.

Hanbell selection software provides working current and MCC based on the working condition, which can be the reference for
selecting electric wiring, magnetic contactor, and fuse.

The anti-loose connector can prevent the compressor from sudden motor trip due to motor protector error.

There’s a grounding terminal inside cable box. Please ensure its connection to the grounding wire. (shown on Figure 2.2)
