Pump unit
1.
Connect the pump hose to the hydraulic cylinder
and check that the connections are properly
secured.
2. Close the relief valve (A) by turning it clockwise.
3. Pump the handle (B) up and down.
4.
Relieve the pressure by turning the valve anti-
clockwise.
NOTE!
The pump can be used in all positions be-
tween horizontal and vertical. If the pump is tilted,
the end of the hose must be lowest.
• When the tool is not being used, the pump unit’s relief valve must be left open.
•
Check the oil level by placing the pump upright and pulling out the dipstick. If necessary,
fi
ll with hydraulic oil
to the maximum mark on the dipstick. The tool is
fi
lled with hydraulic oil at the factory. Only use approved oil.
•
Change the oil after extended use. Drain the oil by pulling out the dipstick and opening the relief valve.
Never allow contaminants to enter the system. Fill with oil of an approved grade as above.
