CAUTION

C  hildren and adults should be alerted to the haz  ards of  high surf ace temperature and should stay away to

Y  oung children should be caref ully superv  ised when they are in the area of  the appliance. 

C  lothing or other f lammable materials should not be hung f  rom the appliance or placed on or near  

the appliance. 
A  ny guard or other protectiv  e dev  ice remov  ed f  or serv  icing the appliance must be replaced prior 

to operating the appliance. 

Installation and repair should be done by a q  ualif ied serv  ice person. The appliance should be inspected bef ore 
use and at least annually by a q  ualif  ied serv  ice person. M   ore f  req  uent cleaning may be req  uired as necessary. 
It is imperativ  e that the control compartment, burners, and circulating air passageways of  the appliance are 
kept clean. 
D  o not use the appliance if  any part has been under water. Immediately call a q  ualif ied technician to inspect 
the appliance and to replace any part of   the control system and any gas control which has been under water. 

LP gas supply cylinder to be used must be constructed and marked in accordance with the specif ications  
f or LP gas cylinders of  the U. S. D  epartment of  Transportation (D  O  T). See page 15. 
The cylinder system must be arranged f or v  apor withdrawal and the cylinder must include a collar to protect 

the cylinder v  alv  e. 

Use only 20 lb (9 kg) LP gas cylinders. 
D  o not burn wood or any other materials in this appliance. 

The burner must be replaced prior to the appliance being put into operation if  it is ev  ident that the burner is  
damaged. The replacement burner must be the same as the part specif  ied by manuf acturer. 

To clean the appliance, including the burner, please ref er to the "  C  leaning and C  learing"   section on page 16. 

D  o not try to cool glass beads with water soon af  ter shutting of f  the gas appliance or they will break. 

D  o not use the gas appliance in strong wind and/or heav  y rain.
