Installing the Light Kit 8.

NOTE

: Before starting installation, disconnect 

the power by turning off the circuit breaker or 
removing the fuse at fuse box.

Turning power off 

using the fan switch is not sufficient to prevent 
electric shock.

1. Remove the 1 of 3 screws from themounting 

ring and keep it for future use.Loosen the other 
2 screws. (Do not remove)

2. Place the key holes on the switch housing 

over the 2 screws previously loosened from the 
mounting ring, turn the switch housing until it 
locks in place at the narrow section of the key 
holes. Secure by tightening the 2 screws 
previously loosened and the one previously 
removed. (Figure 12)

3. Make the wire connections: Connect the 9-pin 

plug from the fan to the 9-pin plug from the 
light kit assembly.

4. Carefully push all wires back into the switch 

housing. Attach the light kit assembly to the 
mounting plate with 3 screws provided.

5. Mount the glass shades to the light fixture by 

unscrewing partway the thumbscrews on the 
glass holders, inserting the glass, then gently 
tightening the thumbscrews by hand evenly to 
the glass. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.

6. With the power off, insert the light compact 

fluorescent bulbs × 3 (included) into the light 
kit sockets. Max. 13 watts.

Fan Without Light Kit

1. Disassemble the switch box from the light kit 

by loosing the two plug-in wire connectors, 
you can keep the light kit for future use. 
(Figure 13)

2.  Attach the plastic plug to the switch box.

3. Remove the screws from the mounting ring 

under the fan motor, Raise the switch box to the 
mounting ring until the holes in switch box and 
mounting ring line up. Reinsert the screws to 
secure in place.

7. Restore power and your light kit is ready for 

operation.
