I
NITIAL AND PERIODIC CHECKS
•
At the time of the first connection of the CRUSHER (as well as of all HAMMER equipment), it is
necessary to verify, by means of suitable flow meter and pressure gauge, that the capacity and
working pressure exiting the excavator are those prescribed in the technical specifications for
the specific CRUSHER model.
This verification must be mandatorily performed by a qualified HAMMER technician or
authorized dealer, who will record the data on the appropriate form (Annex 3 of Chap. 8 of this
manual).
Failure to do so will automatically invalidate the MANUFACTURER'S warranty.
•
Before use, it is of fundamental importance to carry out an accurate check of the components of
the equipment to prevent malfunctions or accidents caused by damaged organs.
•
A careful preliminary analysis can detect any damage occurred during the phases prior to use
(transport, positioning, assembly, etc.).
•
Check that the hydraulic connections have been made correctly.
•
Most of the drawbacks and failures that may occur are caused by the loosening of the fixing
elements and by the presence of leaks which are not promptly eliminated.
•
The general settlement of all the mechanical parts and the hydraulic connections takes place
during the running-in phase: therefore in this phase it is necessary to carry out the checks with
maximum accuracy.

D
AILY CHECKS
Before undertaking any work with the CRUSHER, carry out a general inspection, taking care to check:
•
That there are no oil leaks from the hydraulic components.
•
That there are no deteriorated hydraulic hoses or pipes.
•
That there are no deformed mechanical parts.
If any anomalies are found, do not start work, but immediately restore the maximum efficiency of the
equipment.
Do not tamper with, alter or modify the calibration of the pressure control valves on the CRUSHER.
In case of problems, ask your dealer for a specialized technician, who will have the necessary tools
and equipment for a correct calibration of the pressure value.
