5.1.3 Smoke Exemption Permanent Stop
The position of this permanent stop has been determined during independent laboratory
testing to PD 6434:1969 to enable the smoke particulate emissions to comply with the
smoke exemption regulations.
Part of the permanent stop mechanism comprises of a restriction (anti tamper) screw, that
has been factory fitted to your stove, this acts as a limit stop for the sliding air wash control
and thus prevents full closure, reducing smoke emissions.
