How to Seal Food With Liquids
1. Cool foods before placing in vacuum-sealing pouch. Hot foods rapidly reach their boiling point which
may result in an insufficient seal and shorten the life of the pump.
NOTE: Hot foods create condensation, which may damage pump.
2. Monitor vacuum process through clear lid.
3. When you see a bubble appear in the vacuum-sealing pouch, press the +/STOP VAC
button to stop
the vacuum process and begin the seal process.
Changing Preset Vacuum and Sealing Times
Factory Default for All 10 Programs (P0 to P9)
Vacuum time: 30 seconds. Can be adjusted from 10 to 60 seconds.
Seal time: 2 seconds. Can be adjusted from 0.0 to 3.0 seconds.
Changing Vacuum and Seal Time
1. Press the FUNCTION SELECT
button to select VACUUM. The VACUUM INDICATOR
will
illuminate.
2. The unit will display vacuum time. Press the +/STOP VAC
button to increase time and the
–/STOP
button to decrease time.
3. Press FUNCTION SELECT
button to select SEAL. The SEAL INDICATOR
will illuminate.
4. The unit will display sealing time. Press +/STOP VAC
button to increase time and
–/STOP
button to decrease time.
5. Press FUNCTION SELECT
button to complete programming. Display will return to standby mode.
Programming and Storing
1. In standby mode, unit will show “oo.”
2. Press PROGRAM SELECT
button. Unit will show current program number “PX” (X can be any
number from 0 to 9).
3. Press +/STOP VAC
button to increase program number and –/STOP
button to decrease program
number.
4. Press the FUNCTION SELECT
button. “oo” will show on display.
5. Press FUNCTION SELECT
button. VACUUM INDICATOR
will illuminate to show selected
vacuum time.
6. Press +/STOP VAC
button or –/STOP
button to change vacuum time.
7. Press FUNCTION SELECT
button. SEAL INDICATOR
will illuminate to show selected seal
time.
8. Press +/STOP VAC
button or –/STOP
button to change seal time.
9. Press FUNCTION SELECT
button to save new parameters.
