How to Steam Food While Cooking Rice

Remove lid to check doneness of

food in steamer basket.

NOTE: To check steamed food

during rice cooking time, use

caution and an oven mitt while

lifting lid. If food is done, remove

food with spatula from steamer

basket to serving bowl/platter.

Using an oven mitt, remove

steamer basket.

Add lid to cooking pot.

Unplug.
