Getting started
Insert the included batteries in the speaker or use the enclosed power supply unit to supply power to the device.
Pressing the on/off switch on the rear of the device switches the speaker system on or off.
Pairing the speaker system with your terminal device e.g. mobile phone
The two components must be introduced to one another before the speaker system can communicate with your telephone. This
process is known as “pairing” and is the basis for using the Bluetooth speaker system. Pairing only has to be carried out once
before the headset is used for the fi rst time.
Ensure that your terminal device (mobile phone, PDA etc.) supports the “A2DP” or “AVRCP” Bluetooth profi les! The speaker
system cannot be used if you do not!
Prepare your telephone for the pairing process. Follow the instructions in the operating manual of your mobile phone to switch
your telephone to Bluetooth mode and initiate and perform the coupling procedure (pairing).

Ensure that the Bluetooth speaker system is on (operating signal lamp lights blue).

Press the Bluetooth multifunction button for approx. 6 seconds until the LED operating signal lamp starts to fl ash green/red
alternately.

Start pairing with your mobile phone as described in the instruction manual for your telephone. Follow the instructions on
your phone’s display.

Your telephone searches for corresponding devices in the Bluetooth environment.

The model name is shown on the display when your telephone fi nds the speaker system.

Follow the remaining instructions in the phone or in the operating instructions of the phone.If you are asked for the passkey
or PIN, confi rm this by entering 0000.

Pairing is now complete. The LED fl ashes green to indicate that the device is ready for operation or in standby. The
Bluetooth speaker system is now ready for operation and can be used with your mobile phone, for example.
Music playback via stereo Bluetooth
Generally, the procedure for music playback via Bluetooth in the mobile phone is the same when Bluetooth is activated.
However there a specifi c procedure may be required! For more information, please see the operating instructions of your mobile
phone.
Please note: The “Track >>” and “Track <<” buttons are only supported by devices with AVRCP profi les! The various functions
supported by the terminal devices (mobile phones, PDAs) used may also vary.
Bluetooth multifunction button
Bluetooth mode is activated by pressing the MFB for two seconds while the speaker system is on. The LED operating signal
lamp fl ashes green.
Bluetooth detection mode (pairing/coupling) is activated by pressing the MFB for 4 seconds while the speaker system is on. The
LED operating signal lamp fl ashes green and red alternately.
Bluetooth mode is deactivated by pressing the MFB for four seconds while the speaker system is on and in Bluetooth mode. The
LED operating signal lamp lights red briefl y, then enters standby mode (blue).
Pressing the button briefl y during music playback pauses the music.
Pressing it briefl y while paused starts playback again.
External signal source
The enclosed line-in cable allows you to connect an external signal source (CD-player, MP3 player etc.) for playback to the
audio in connection at the rear of the speaker system. Playback operation of the external signal source remains the same!

La technologie Bluetooth correspond à une norme pour la communication de données sans fi l sur courte distance. Les
téléphones mobiles supportant le Bluetooth et les composants correspondants (par ex. les kits mains libres, les enceintes etc.)
peuvent prendre contact et communiquer ensemble sans fi l et à une distance allant jusqu´à 10 mètres.
Le système d´enceintes Bluetooth supporte les profi ls Bluetooth “A2DP” et „AVRCP“ et peut par conséquent être utilisé
avec les postes terminaux compatibles (téléphones mobiles, PDA, etc...) pour la restitution audio via Bluetooth stéréo! Cela
signifi e que seuls les postes terimaux supportant un des deux profi ls Bluetooth assurent une compatibilité avec le système
d´enceintes!
