Router

Transmission of the signals between the ECU's of the preceding and succeeding vehicles within the road train is
implemented by the router. It is done on a:

›

Towed trailer with two EBS units installed (must be the last trailer in the train), or

›

Where communication between ECU's installed on each of the vehicles needs to be provided

Reference the customer drawing 815 057 000 2 on page 45 for a wiring diagram example.

Towed trailer with two local EBS units

Both EBS units are connected to the same EB+ CAN Hub and both have the same trailer VIN number. This can be
implemented only on the last trailer on the road train.
