Testing the hand pallet truck
4.1 After the truck has been assembled, try to rock the handle
and operate different positions of the control handle knob (10) to
examine lift, free and drop positions and check that they work
normally. See fig. 5.
4.2 The screw (9) in fig. 4 is used to adjust the truck operation. If
the truck body drops immediately after it is lifted, you should turn
the screw (9) a little counterclockwise and then try to operate the
truck again until the truck body will lift normally. If the truck body
cannot be lowered after it is lifted, you should turn the screw (9)
a little clockwise and then try to operate the truck again until the
truck body can lower normally. The external hexagon nut (8) at
the screw (9) serves as a locking mechanism of the adjustment
(screw). You should loosen the external hexagon nut (8) before
adjustment and tighten the nut (8) after finishing the adjustment.
Note! The lock nut (which is to be placed under the groove of the lever board) at the end of the handle inner
chain (4) should not be adjusted. If nylon locking threads are removed from the screw threads, rolling vibration
will cause the nut to unscrew and thus detach the chain leaving the control handle knob unusable.
