5. Safety instructions
• There is inherently a risk of falling when using the
scaffolding. All work with and on the scaffolding
should therefore be carried out in such a way that a
risk of falling is kept as low as possible.
• When using the scaffolding, there is also the risk of
tipping over. Individuals can be injured and objects
damaged due to the scaffolding tipping over. All
work with and on the scaffolding should therefore
be carried out in such a way that a risk of tipping
over is kept as low as possible.
•
The supplementary safety information symbols are
meant to instruct the user of the scaffolding about
what is necessary and what is not allowed for a safe
use of a scaffolding in order to avoid accidents e.g.
by falling from the scaffolding.
“Necessary” is indicated by a tick [ ] and
“Not allowed” is indicated by an X [ ].
WARNING
Danger of severe injuries!
In event of incorrect use or handling of the
scaffolding, there are risks that may lead to severe
injuries or even to death.
Warning, falling hazard.
Refer to instruction
manual/booklet.
WARNING
Danger of severe injuries!
In event of incorrect use or handling of the ladder,* there
are risks that may lead to severe injuries or even to death.
Check the scaffolding after
delivery. Before using each time,
perform a visual check of the
scaffolding for damage and safe
use. Damaged components must
not be used.
Both cross bars of
the scaffolding must
be attached before
the initial use by the
user (see Section
6, Instructions for
assembling).
Maximum total load.
The highest possible load capacity
of the work platform is 150 kg.
Before use, a check should be made to see that
the scaffolding has been properly and fully
erected in accordance with the specifications
of these instructions for use, and is standing
vertically.
All railing braces, horizontal and diagonal
braces must be inserted fixed into the ladder
rungs and secured.
Before use, it should be ensured that all neces-
sary safety provisions to prevent tipping have
been carried out.
* Both folding ladder frames [1] can also be used
separately as stepladder or single ladder.
The instructions and specifications in these
instructions for use relate primarily on the use of the
scaffold. These instructions and specifications should
also be observed and carried out (as long as this is
reasonable and possible during usage) when being
used as stepladder or single ladder.
Additional safety instructions when using the ladder
frames as stepladder or single ladder can be found on
page 20 + 21.
