3. Remove the rubber keypad.
4. Insert the new rubber keypad. Align the latches of the new insert to the openings on the VSC and
gently snap into place.

Attach the new faceplate.
Serial Control
Hi-Fi2 can be remotely controlled
through an HAI controller or by a
device with a serial interface. When
connected, the remote device can select
an audio zone and change its power
state, source, volume setting, and mute
setting, completely configure the Hi-Fi2
system, and issue transport controls to
compatible sources.
Connect Hi-Fi2 to an HAI Omni or
Lumina series Home Control System by
inserting the supplied straight-through,
4-position modular cable between an
available serial interface connector on
the HAI controller and the modular
connector labeled “Serial Control” on
the Hi-Fi2 Main Assembly.
