Replace / install buckle.
Slide back the padding so that the metal clip is revealed (fig.
19). Hook the fastening part of the buckle behind the clip and
pull firmly until the fastening part is secured in the clip (fig.
20). Slide the padding back into place (fig. 21). Reverse the
above steps to remove the buckle.

The pin buckle prevents accidental release. A
caregiver in possession of an unlocking tool (eg
a pin) must be present at all times in order to
open the belt in case of an emergency.
Where the cognitive and/or physical conditions
of the user may cause unexpected opening of
the push buckle, a caregiver should be present
at all times when using the positioning belt.
