Getting the dog used to the trailer
First place the trailer in a familiar place, e.g. in
the living room. If necessary, remove the wheels
to obtain maximum stability. If necessary, place a
blanket under the trailer to avoid scratches.
Open all zips and place e.g. a cuddly blanket or the
dog’s favourite toy inside.
Playfully lead the dog through the trailer
(bait with a treat if necessary).
Place the trailer at the dog’s sleeping place
and close the front window so that the trailer is
perceived as a retreat.
Initially, only go for short rides at a slow pace and
observe your dog's reactions.
Check before riding

All screws and securing devices present and
properly fastened?
Trailer is correctly coupled to the towing bike?
Is the air pressure correct?
Reflectors present and clean?
Is the supplied safety flag fitted? It helps to make
you more visible in road traffic.
