Muster Alarm Signal.
This option is used to select zones for activation of a muster alarm signal. A muster alarm is defined as 7 short
blasts of the sounders, followed by 1 long blast. This is repeated until silenced. The activated muster alarm
zone will show a fire indication at the panel but no common fire LED. The panels outputs can be programmed
to respond to a muster alarm using seperate option codes.
A second setting is provided to enable the panels ‘RESOUND’ button to activate the muster alarm signal.
Note:
With panel software V4.1 and above, muster alarm will have priority over any new fire alarms by default.
It is possible to make fire a higher priority using
option 3.
Enter the above code and press the ENTER button.
The zone 1 fire LED will be on steady. Use button
1 to toggle between steady fire LEDs 1, for setting
muster alam zones, 2, for setting RESOUND button
to activate muster alarm, 3, for changing muster
alarm priority.or

Set Muster Alarm Zones [LED 1]
With the zone 1 fire LED lit press the ENTER button and the LED will pulse to indicate setting zone 1 to muster
alarm. Use button 1 to move the pulsing fire LED to the required zone and then use button 2 to change the
setting, indicated by the amber fault LED ON or OFF. Any or all zones may be set for muster alarm.
ON = muster alarm zone, OFF = standard.
Set RESOUND Button Operation For Muster Alarm [LED 2]
With the zone 2 fire LED lit press the ENTER button. Fire LED 2 will now pulse to indicate editing mode.
Use button 2 to toggle the option on or off, indicated by zone 1 amber fault LED ON or OFF.
ON = RESOUND button activates muster alarm, OFF = RESOUND button activates evacuate (default).
Set Fire As Priority Over Muster Alarm [LED 3]
With the zone 3 fire LED lit press the ENTER button. Fire LED 3 will now pulse to indicate editing mode.
Use button 2 to toggle the option on or off, indicated by zone 1 amber fault LED ON or OFF.
OFF = muster alarm has priority, ON = fire has priority.
When finished, press and hold button 1 to store settings and exit programming mode. Then enter next
programming code or return DIL switch 3 to ‘OFF’ position and disable controls.
Set presence of VDR card [LED 4]
When a VDR (Voyage data recorder) communications output card is to be used the setting must be made to
allow the panel to monitor the integrity of the communications path.
With the zone 4 fire LED lit press the ENTER button. Fire LED 4 will now pulse to indicate editing mode. Use
button 2 to toggle the option on or off, indicated by zone 1 amber fault LED ON or OFF.
OFF = VDR card is not present, ON = VDR card is fitted.
