Overweight blood collec-
tion. Shaker not clamping or not com-
pletely clamping (i.e., solenoid
throw requires adjusting). See "Tube clamp not functioning" in
this table.
Shaker not calibrated. Calibrate Shaker. See Calibration sec-
tion above.
Foreign object on shroud. Remove object.
Underweight blood collec-
tion. Shaker not calibrated. Calibrate Shaker. See Calibration sec-
tion above.
Foreign object on shroud. Remove object.
Shaker will not calibrate. Faulty strain gauge. See Chapter 5, Strain Gauge Inspec-
tion and Replacement on page 5-2.
Weight sensing assembly requires
adjustment. Adjust R3 and R7 on body board.
Shroud "clunks," moves with
a jarring motion or fails to
move. Something obstructing the shroud or
link. Verify power cord is not blocking
shroud on its back stroke. Inspect area
around and under shroud for obstruct-
ing objects and remove them (with the
Shaker unplugged), if necessary.
Shroud boss broken loose from the
inside of the shroud. Replace shroud. See Chapter 10,
Shroud Assembly Installation on page
10-8.
Shroud is rubbing base assembly or
link assembly. Bow shroud. See Chapter 10, Bowing
the Shroud on page 10-7.
Set screws on crank assembly are
loose. Replace screws.
Link M, Link Y or Shaft M damaged
or loose. See Chapter 6, Link Assembly Inspec-
tion on page 6-2.
Shaker extremely noisy
(grinding or rubbing sound). The motor and Link Y connections
have become worn or out of align-
ment. See Chapter 6, Link Assembly Inspec-
tion on page 6-2.
Tube clamp fails to engage at
collection completion. Insufficient power to solenoid. See Chapter 7, Tube Clamp/Solenoid
Inspection, Replacement and Adjust-
ment on page 7-2.
