Limited Warranty and Limitation of Liability
Your Hach product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship
under normal use and service for sixty days from the date of purchase. This warranty
is valid only for purchases within the U.S. and does not apply to any product which, in
Hach’s opinion, has been misused, altered, neglected, damaged by accident or abnormal
conditions of operation or handling, or subject to unauthorized repair or attempted repair.
Hach’s warranty obligation is limited, at Hach’s option, to repair or replacement of a
defective product which is returned to Hach within the warranty period. Any product
replaced under this warranty will be warranted only for the remainder of the original
product warranty period. This warranty does not apply to consumable products such
as chemical reagent test strips. This warranty applies to consumer use only, and is void
when the product is used in a commercial or institutional setting.
Contact Hach Company, ETS Business Unit at 888-278-2243 or 574-262-2060 to
initiate warranty support. Products may not be returned without authorization from
Hach Company. The product must be accompanied by a description of the defect and
a copy of the sales receipt showing the date of purchase.
THIS WARRANTY IS BUYER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AND IS IN LIEU OF
ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE. HACH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES AND/OR PROFITS, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA,
ARISING FROM ANY CAUSE OR THEORY.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which
vary from state to state.
