4 Operating mode
The joining spring clamp CQ-01 operates according to the pressing-tongs principle: to open the arms
pressed together by the spring, apply substantial pressure to both handles.
At the tip of each arm there is a screw clamp that allows to lock the ends of the thermoplastic round belt in
processing.
The closing of the joining spring clamp is secured by a closing spring [1] which allows the adjustment of the
applied force by selecting the working position of the spring.
The label [6] on the handle indicates the correct position of the spring depending on the diameter of the belt
in processing.
The blocking hook [2] allows to securely lock the clamp in the open position, thus allowing the blocking
operations of the belt ends.
The joining spring clamp CQ-01 is suitable for both stationary and mobile use.
For the stationary use is provided the use of the support for fixing on the workbench. It is possible to make
efficient mass-production with an appropriate number of spring clamps [3] and table supports [4 / 5].
For the mobile use (on site), it is sufficient to ensure that there is adequate space for the equipment to
operate, in order to work safely.
5 Getting started
Check the spring clamp open and close properly and that the locking of the screw clamps [9] to be effective
Check the spring clamp is clean and without material residues that may jam the device
For the stationary operation, fix the table support [4/5] to the workbench and place the spring clamp on the
support.
