Counter
The Bar Feeder can count either the numbers of bars used, the number of parts made, or
the length of material run. A non-zero value set in
Max # Parts
(
#3103
),
Max # Bars
(
#3104
), or
Max Length to Run
(
#3105
) determines the active counting modes. The
first non-zero value stops the cycle if more than one is present.
To stop the machine after a chosen number of parts, set
Current Number of Parts
Run
(
#3106
) to zero. Then, set
Max # Parts
(
#3103
) to the chosen quantity. The counter
increments at each
G105
command. If
G105
is at the beginning of the program, the counter
increments before each part starts machining. If
G105
is at the end of the program, the
counter increments after each part finishes machining.
To stop the machine after a certain number of bars, set
Current Number of Bars Run
(
#3107
) to zero. Then set
Max # Bars
(
#3104
) to the number of bars to run. The counter
increments as each bar is loaded.
To stop the machine after a certain length of bar, set
Current Length Run
(
#3108
) to
zero. Then set
Max Length To Run
(
#3105
) to the total bar length you want to machine.
NOTE:
The counter increments by the push distance at each
G105
command. This distance is either the initial push length (
#3101
) after
a bar is loaded or the part cutoff (
#3100
) at each bar feed
after the initial push.
