(3) Enter the decompressed folder directory and view the content using the dir command, as
shown in Figure 5-45 .
(4) Find the rpm file and use the rpm –U xxx.rpm command to upgrade the kernel, as shown
in Figure 5-46 .

(5) Figure 5-46 indicates that some packages are missing, resulting in an unsuccessful
installation. In this case, you can use the ./apply_patch.sh command to upgrade the kernel,
as shown in Figure 5-47 .
