Removing a memory module
Follow these steps to remove a memory module:
Step1
Make sure all power sources to the router are disconnected.
Step2
Pull the release latches away from the memory module at both ends so that the memory module is lifted
from the memory module slot.
Step3
Holding the non-conductive edge, remove the memory module.

CAUTION:
•
Do not touch the surface-mounted components of the memory module directly with your hands to avoid
damaging the memory module. Hold the memory module only at its non-conductive edge.
•
To protect the removed memory module, place it in an antistatic bag.
Installing a memory module
Follow these steps to install a memory module:
Step1
Make sure all power sources to the router are disconnected.
Step2
Align the polarization notch of the memory module with the key in the memory module slot.
