Installing a 4G antenna for the SIC-4G-LTE-M module
1.
Unfold the antenna to 180º.
2.
Attach the antenna to the antenna port on the module. To avoid damage, do not use excessive
force.
3.
Fold the antenna to an angle of 90º so that the antenna is vertical to the ground or ceiling to
achieve optimal coverage.
Connecting an antenna extension cable for the SIC-4G-LTE-M module
1.
Fasten the SMA connector onto the antenna port on the module.
2.
Attach the magnetic cradle on the other end of the extension cable to the rack.
Connecting a USB console cable for the SIC-4G-LTE-M module
The SIC-4G-LTE-M interface module has a mini USB port for debugging. To debug the module
through third-party software, use a USB console cable to connect the mini USB port on the module to
a peer device, typically a PC.
When the interface module is operating correctly, you do not need to connect a USB console cable.
