3.8 Installation Verification

During installing the equipment, you must check the installation each time you power

on the SecPath, making sure that:

There is enough space around the cabinet for heat dissipation;

The cabinet is stable enough;

The correct power supply is used;

The PGND wire of the SecPath is connected properly;

The connections with other devices, such as the console terminal, are correct.

Note:

This step is critical, since the factors, such as whether the chassis, grounding, power

supply are properly located, all affect the normal working status of the SecPath.
