Navigation Features and Controls
Ejecting the Map DVD
1
. Press and hold the
�
(open/
close faceplate) button for
approximately 12 seconds.
The faceplate will then release
and open quickly.
2. Press the eject button next to
the slot to eject the map DVD.
If you try to close the screen by
pushing down on the center
and not the outer edges, the

by your warranty.
Always use the outer edges
when closing the screen.

3. To close the screen, push up
slightly on the two outer top
corners until the screen is in
position.
Push the screen inward using
the four outer corners until
you hear a click.
NOTE:
In order to use navigation
mapping features, the mapping
data DVD must be loaded in the
map DVD loading slot.
Setting the Search Area
See "Setting the Search Area''
under "Enter Destination" for
information.
Map Adjustments
The system allows you to adjust
the scale of view on the map. Also,
the map will scroll automatically
based on the direction you are
traveling.
Map Scales
To view a larger or smaller scale of
the rnap, touch
the zoom in or
zoom out buttons.
The scale of a map can range from
50 m (1 /32 of a mile) to 200 km
(125 miles).
Note:
Some areas of the map may not
be readable when the map is
set to the largest scale .
