To store an equalization setting
for a preset station:

Turn the audio system on.

Press the

BAND

hard key to

access the desired

AM/FM

screen.

Press the ) (audio) hard key.

The

AUDIO

screen will appear.

Touch one of the buttons,

EQ1

through

EQ5,

to select

the desired automatic tone
control setting.

Press the

BAND

hard key to

return to the previous screen.

Touch and hold one of the six

preset buttons until you hear a

beep.

The equalization setting stored

for the station will  be automat
ically  chosen  whenever you se
lect  the  preset  station.

If desired, repeat the

procedure for additional

presets.

Section 3

SPEED COMPENSATED VOlUME

(SCV)

Your sound system is equipped

with the speed-compensated
volume feature.

This  feature  automatically
compensates  for  the increase  in
road  noise  levels at  higher speeds.

Press the ) (audio) hard key.

The

AUDIO

screen will appear.

Touch the down arrow to

display the menu's next page.
