Your vehicle
is equipped

Navigation System which has the
following integrated features:

Player
The navigation system allows you
to p!an a route and provides
turn-by-turn route and map
guidance with voice prompts.
The navigation system also allows
you to select a destination using
various methods and choices
(street addresses, intersections;
destinations stored in memory,
points of interest, etc.) .

Before you begin to operate this
system, please read this manual
thoroughly to become familiar
with it and to understand how the
system works.
While your vehicle is parked, take
the time to familiarize yourself
with the system controls and
operation, and to set up various
features.
That way, you will be able to use
the system with less effort and less
distraction from the road.
Entering alpha-numeric text
requires many steps, so you can
only perform these operations
while the vehicle is parked. You
will notice that touch-sensitive
screen buttons leading to the
alpha-numeric keypad are dim and
inoperable while driving.
Other functions may also be inop­
erable while driving and they, too,
will appear dim on the screen.
All functions are available when
parked. Some functions can be
performed while driving, however
make sure not to divert too much
attention from your driving.
