WARNINGS - SAFETY RULES
GENERAL INSTRUCTION
This user’s manual includes instructions on how to operate your device and what precautions to take
for your safety. Please read it carefully before using the machine for the first time and keep it for
future reference. This equipment is for professional use only and should only be installed, adjusted
or operated by qualified and experienced operators.
Do not use this tool if any parts are missing or damaged. This product must not be modified in any way.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Slips, trips and falls are a major cause of serious injury and death. Pay attention to hoses left on the floor. This
appliance is not intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. This appliance is intended for indoor use in a
well-lit environment on level ground.
ENVIRONMENT
This equipment may only be used within the limits indicated on the rating plate and/or in the manual. The safety guide-
lines must be observed. In case of improper or dangerous use, the manufacturer will not be held responsible.
Temperature ranges :
Use between -10 and +40°C (+14 and +104°F).
Storage between -20 and +55°C (-4 and 131°F).
Air humidity:
Less than or equal to 50% at 40°C (104°F).
Less than or equal to 90% at 20°C (68°F).
Altitude :
Up to 1000 m above sea level (3280 feet).
PERSONAL AND OTHER PROTECTION
To protect yourself and others, follow these safety instructions:
Always wear impact-resistant eye protection when using the equipment.
Wear a safety helmet when working at height.
Wear hearing protection in accordance with the employer’s instructions and as required by occupational
health and safety regulations. Exposure to high noise levels can cause permanent hearing loss and other
problems such as tinnitus. A risk assessment is essential. Check that the mufflers on the equipment are
present and in good condition.
Wear protective gloves to reduce the risk of exposure to vibration and hazards such as cuts or abrasions.
Repeated movements and exposure to vibration can be harmful to hands and arms, shoulders, neck and
other parts of the body. If numbness, tingling, or numbness occurs, stop using the tool and seek medical
attention.
Wear safety shoes to avoid an accident if a part falls or during assembly.
Wear warm clothing when working in cold weather to keep hands warm and dry.
Maintain a stable posture and secure footing when using the tool. It is advisable for the operator to change posture
during a long task, which can help to avoid discomfort and fatigue.
The tool should not be operated towards the operator or any other person.
Keep hands away from the compression mechanism; holding the riveter with both hands is strongly recommended.
Be aware that broken arms or accessories can generate high speed projectiles
Inspect regularly for cracks; injury can occur if a cracked arm is dropped during use.
