Cleaning the HEPA filter
The HEPA filter is located in the filter unit in the dust container and should be cleaned regularly
to ensure that the suction power of your vacuum cleaner does not diminish and the motor is not
overloaded.
1.
Hold down the release button on the handle of the dust
container and detach the dust container from the vacuum
cleaner.
2.
Open the dust container by releasing the fastener clip (A)
and folding up the dust container lid.
3.
Remove the HEPA filter (B) by pulling it out.
4.
Below the HEPA filter there is another foam filter. Remove it
for cleaning.
5.
Tap the HEPA dust filter out over an open dustbin. Clean the filter using a brush if
necessary. Never clean the HEPA filter with water to prevent damage to the filter.
6.
Tap the foam filter out over an open dustbin. If necessary, you can rinse the foam filter
with clear, cold water. Then allow the filter to dry completely before you insert it again.
7.
Place the dry foam filter back into the filter unit.
8.
Insert the HEPA filter back into the filter unit.
9.
Close the dust container lid. The fastener clip must be heard to lock in place.
