Energy saving tips
•
Place the fr
eezer
in the coolest area of the room, away from heat-producing appliances
and out of direct sunlight.
•
Let hot foods cool down a little before placing them into the fr
eezer
. Overloading the
fr
eezer
forces the compressor to run longer.
•
Wrap foods properly and wipe containers dry before placing them in the fr
eezer
. This
cuts down on frost build-up inside the fr
eezer
.
•
Do not line any fr
eezer
storage bin with aluminum foil, wax paper or paper towels.
Liners interfere with cold air circulation, reducing cooling efficiency.

Do not leave the fr

door open for longer than required.
When away on holidays
•
Short holidays:
leave the fr

operating during vacations of less than three weeks.

loose items inside. Turn the levelling feet up to the base.

protect the outside of the fr

stays secure in an upright position; do not tilt it for more than 45°
from upright.

not going to be used for an extended period:

the appliance by turning the temperature regulator to position “

”
•
Remove the mains plug or switch off or disconnect the electricity supply.
•
Clean thoroughly.
